Dark Cloud is an action-RPG title, in which players control a young boy named Toan, who has been chosen by the Fairy King to help rivive the world after it has been needlessly destroyed by the recently summoned Dark Genie. As the world was destroyed piece by piece, the Fairy King managed to save buildings and people by storing them in magical spheres. Toan must find these spheres in order to restore the towns to their former glory.
